I have worked with Jan Leeks for 6 years at Corporate Edge.

Jan is one of the best people I have worked with in my career. He is technically very good and on top of things. I approached Jan in 2007 to design and build the Peter Cameron Fine Art website, which I believe at the time was a bit of a change, in terms of client type, from the major corporate entities that Jan was used to working with at the time.

Jan quickly appreciated the purpose of the site as well as the audiences that it was meant to serve. He worked closely and collaboratively with me at all stages of the site’s development and was constant and pro-active source of information, in terms of best practice design possibilities and technological options available, within the budgets I had at the time.

The site was delivered on time and within budget and I continue to use Jan’s services to this day and am the beneficiary of on-going advice that could potentially enhance the site’s performance.

Jan is a joy to work with, he’s honest, reliable and straightforward, and provides a caring, intelligent and understanding approach to dealing with the irrational fear, hatred and loathing of all things IT related, possessed of luddites such as I.

I have known Jan for over seventeen years.

He joined my company Associated Design Consultants (ADC) as a junior technician and started doing photo-reproduction work. His joining coincided with the birth of the Macintosh ‘revolution’. Within a short time Jan was more proficient on the Macs than any of our designers.

He spent a number of years on Mac production, working himself up to Head of Department. When the Internet became more prominent Jan, again, was at the forefront and when ADC formed an Internet design company, ‘Look Interactive’, Jan was the natural choice to head it up.

When in 1999, ADC merged with CLK/MPL to form Corporate Edge, Jan moved over to become the web-design expert.
